About

Since 1860, St. John’s has been providing ministry to its surrounding area and to the wider world. Beginning with a few stalwart German immigrants who took a leap of faith, St. John’s has grown and changed over the years and become a home for people from all walks of life.

One thing, however, has never changed, and that is the commitment the members of St. John’s have to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the mandate He has given us to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Here all people find the embrace of a warm, hospitable welcome, and food for their souls.

We sometimes say that St. John’s is “God’s Family Room,” and we’re sincere about that – we want to provide a place where people know that they are accepted as they are, where they can find the peace to hear what God is saying to them, and where they can feel strengthened to go forth into the world to proclaim the Good News.

If you’re ever in our little corner of the world, do stop stop by! We’d love to see you!
